DAVID BAILEY

Born: David Royston Bailey
          2nd January 1938 (aged 77)
          Leytonstone, London, England, UK

Bailey developed a love of natural history and this led him into photography. He suffered from undiagnosed dyslexia, he experienced problems at college.

He was demobbed in August 1958 and determined to persue a career in photography, he bought a canon rangefinder camera.

It has been David Bailey's natural talent and ability as a photographer to visually communicate that has garnered him the respect and recognition of his peers. As with most siblings, David wanted to emulate his brother. He longed to follow his brothers artistic footsteps but in his own creative direction. His brother gave him his first camera, a 35mm Viogtlander and from there an inspiration grew.

In 1994, David introduced David Bailey's photography which has grown to represent some of the most highly recognised corporates clients in the U.S. With over 30 years of experience, David has artistically captured the spirit of each image with a genuine depth of feeling and emotion.
