MARIO TESTINO
Mario Eduardo Testino Silva was born on the 30th October 1954. He was born in Lima, Peru. He is best known for being a Fashion and Portrait photographer, a Creative Director and a Philanthropist.
VOGUE JAPAN SPECIAL EDITION
In 2014, in celebration of Vogue Japan's 15th Anniversary, Mario Testino was invited to be the magazine's first ever guest editor. Intensifying the spirit of unwavering conviction that he had noticed after travelling to and from the country. Testino worked closely with editor Mitsuko Watanabe and fashion director Anna Dello Russo the theme of obsession. Gracing the special six-page cover is model Miranda Kerr, dressed in a array of attire in the style of Geisha, Samurai and Manga; all representative archetypes of Japanese culture and dress.
